Drifting

Drifting is a project about sharing our experiences of feeling adrift as immigrants.

I would like to invite you to share a personal story about this experience. You can choose to remain anonymous or share your name, it is completely up to you.

The stories will become part of an audio installation inside ceramic shells. Visitors will be able to pick up the shells, listen, and connect with these different experiences of migration.

I understand that these stories can touch on sensitive and personal experiences. Please only share what you feel comfortable sharing. By submitting the form, you agree that the story you share may be used and presented in a public artistic setting as part of the project.

If you would like to participate:

• Fill out the form.
• Send an audio recording of up to 3 minutes, in any audio format, to contact@fernandamelgarejo or attach it directly to the form.
• If you prefer not to use your own voice, you can send your story as a written text, and I can record it for you.
